Technohull RIBS heading for Sydney and beyond
Luxury high-performance Technohull offshore RIBs making a splash in Australia and New Zealand Ray White Marine has been appointed exclusive Australian and New Zealand distributors for Technohull rigid inflatable boats (RIBs).
Already several initial orders have been placed for these cutting-edge performance craft for the Sydney summer, the importer says.
Technohull is a specialist builder of centre console GRP and carbon-fibre hulls with open or cabin RIB layouts.
Owners have an extensive options’ list to customise their every fitting. The range starts with an entry-level 6.8m model and tops out with the cutting-edge 41ft Omega fitted with outboard, jet inboard, shaft, or Arneson drive systems.
“The brand is the best in class, there is a huge market in local waters for clients looking for high quality, high speed, dry performance — getting long distances in a short amount of time in sheer comfort and style,” explains Brock Rodwell, International Sales Director for Ray White Marine and an Aussie currently based in Europe.
RACE-BRED RIBS
Technohull RIBS are manufactured in Athens, Greece, and headed up CEO and ex-offshore RIB racing champion Gerry Petratos, who says the new dealership broadens the factory’s current stronghold in Mediterranean markets.
“It is a privilege to announce the promising collaboration with Ray White Marine. Their experience and expertise in representing high-end brands is a solid and transparent guarantee for us here at Technohull.”
Petratos says his RIBs provide excellent offshore performance, combined with customised luxury solutions, and are tailored for harsh environments.
“Our customers are well trained and well acquainted with sea performance. But establishing a collaboration with a company that knows core boating was key for us.”
TECHNOHULL BUSINESS
Founded in 2005, Technohull has a following in key European markets such as Croatia, Turkey, Greece and France. With a well-versed and experienced management team, the factory is self-funded, debt free and has plans to release several new models over the next 12 months.
“In a challenging global marketplace, we see the Australia and New Zealand region having huge potential due to the climate, ocean conditions and client demands,” Petratos said
“We welcome Brock and his team to the family and look forward to heading down under for Sanctuary Cove and Sydney Boat Shows.”
DAYBOATS FOR SYDNEY
Rodwell from importer Ray White Marine says Technohull caters for avid day boaters and larger boat owners looking for a stylish tender or chase boat. To this end, two of the 999s outboard versions are now en route to Sydney.
“Clients have been asking for this solution for while, whether they want day trips at 70 knots to Pittwater and back, or they just seek a comfortable entertaining platform.
“The boats cater for many markets, especially our larger vessel clientele, typically 70ft and above, wanting another toy,” adds Rodwell.
The first of the 999s models will arrive prior to Christmas and is fitted with twin 400hp Mercury Verados and customised stainless props. The 32ft RIB is sure to set some hearts racing Sydney Harbour.
